An indie bottling of Port Charlotte single malt (smoky single malt whisky from the Bruichladdich distillery), matured for 14 years
Batch 5 is a release of 845 bottles.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Get a whiff of that roaring open fire, coal tar and prickles of cedar wood and rosemary.
Palate:?Initially sweet with hints of cocoa, black cherries and treacle. Then come the herbs, oregano for sure and a cardamom touch.
Finish:?A long, smoky finish with lasting flavours of leather and tobacco.
The Limited Edition labels are hand illustrated and designed with a nod towards whimsicality, often incorporating whisky industry “in jokes”
