This non chill-filtered “vatted malt” is a marriage of appropriately aged and selected Highland malts – including, amongst others, those distilled at Blair athol, Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne distilleries. Douglas Laing’s Timorous Beastie small batch release is brimful of flavour with a honey spiced character and a piquancy to relish.
